Paul Paget joined Savant Protection as the CEO to drive the company's strategy and plan for establishing a leadership position in the market. A veteran of the information security industry, Paul enters Savant Protection with 30 years of high tech experience with companies ranging from startups to the Fortune 50. He brings a strong leadership background and a successful track record in growing and guiding security software companies, and has extensive experience managing sales and service organizations. Previously, Paul served as President and CEO of Core Security Technologies where he launched the Core IMPACT product and successfully built Core into the market leader in automated penetration testing with over 600 customers in more than 40 countries. Prior to Core, he was Senior Vice President of Operations for Baltimore Technologies Americas where he grew the company to a $30+ million dollar business. Paul joined Baltimore via the acquisition of GTE CyberTrust, where he was Worldwide Vice President of Sales and Marketing. During his tenure, Paul established the CyberTrust brand as a market leader in certification authority products and services, growing sales by 100% in one year. In 1999, he was credited by Frost and Sullivan as the “Marketing Turnaround of the Year” and subsequently positioned the company for acquisition by Baltimore Technologies in 2000 for $150 million. Earlier, Paul held a variety of senior sales and marketing positions with Lotus Development and IBM. Paget holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Bowdoin College and has completed management, technology and executive education with IBM, GTE and the University of Michigan.
Ken founded Savant Protection in 2006 and is the Chief Technology Officer. Ken is responsible for the company’s strategic technology direction, product development and engineering. Prior to founding Savant, Ken held senior positions for over two decades with Digital Equipment Corporation, Hughes, Hitachi, Softbank and the John Von Neumann Super Computing Center for the National Science Foundation. Ken is on the Board of Advisors for the Homeland Security program at Daniel Webster College and also on the Board of Advisors for the SANS Institute of New England. Ken received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
Ashton is an experienced manager, investor and high-tech consultant. He is a former General Partner of Lucent Venture Partners, served as the Chief Strategy Officer and head of Business Development at Lucent Technologies and was the Managing Director of GeoPartners Research, Inc., a thought-leading technology strategy consultancy. Early in his career, Ashton was a public television Producer, Director and Writer. He serves on the Boards of several early stage startups and a New Ventures incubator.
In the course of over 35 years, Leonard “Len” Worden has founded over a dozen successful companies and launched numerous products serving the heavy construction, telecom, defense, and manufacturing industries. Len’s visionary approach and technical expertise in mechanical and concrete technology have enabled him to build the market-leading precast concrete products company in the Northeast and the Carolinas, and the premier precast concrete tunnel liner company in North America. As a passionate boater and automobile enthusiast, Len also owns businesses in the marine and automotive industries. Len has served on the boards of various corporations, startups, and trade associations, including serving as past President of the National Precast Concrete Association, and is an active committee member of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM)
A consummate entrepreneur, developer and innovator, “Charlie” Morgan has amassed an impressive and proven track record in launching successful real estate development, construction, self-storage and high-tech companies. Currently, as Founder/CEO of Morgan Self Storage, his innovations have introduced customers to new and diverse secure storage, moving and facility usage options making his multi-functional facilities in high demand. Charlie understands the challenges and critical factors necessary to fund, provide long-term vision, build a team, lead and manage companies through the stages of growth into profitability. Additionally, he has held key Board positions with various trade associations, including the Home Owner’s Warrantee Corporation.
As a founder and early investor in Savant Protection, Joe has served on the board of directors since 2004. Joe provides a wealth of practical experience and insight to the Savant board from a career that reflects his unique blend of achievement in both software development and business management. For more than thirty years, as a senior analyst for a privately held Massachusetts based high-technology company, Joe manages a highly successful team that has delivered cross-industry software installations in over twenty-five countries. Joe holds an MBA from Babson College.
As CFO and Treasurer of Savant Protection, Walter is responsible for driving operational excellence and maximizing shareholder value. Walter brings 19 years of expertise in product commercialization, international business, and corporate finance from a number of diverse industries including consumer products, wireless telecommunications, construction and manufacturing. Prior to Savant, Walter held various positions in privately held, as well as large multinational companies including Fleet Boston Financial (currently Bank of America) and the Eastman Kodak company. Walter’s broad background includes roles as COO, CFO, Director of Business Strategy and Product Management. Walter holds an MBA and an Engineering degree from the University of Rochester and has completed the Executive Program in Strategy and Innovation at the MIT Sloan School of Business. He holds a U.S. patent in imaging technology.
